The ZU650 model is a 3D-DLP projector from Optoma, intended for Stationary applications, offering 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 at WUXGA 1920 x 1200. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 718 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 479 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
