According to Optoma, the ZK1000 model provides 8000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 4000000:1 alongside a UHD (4K2K+) 3840 x 2400 resolution. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projection Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 252 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 8000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 862 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 575 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
