With the ProScene ZU920TNL, Optoma offers a Laser-DLP projector that features 8200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1100:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 8200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 749 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 499 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
