The projector X320UST by Optoma operates as a 3D-DLP device with 3500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 20000:1. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 66 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 343 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 29 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
