Based on DLP technology, the Optoma X340 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. Looking at practical performance, up to 500 cm can be illuminated with 3300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 333 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
