According to Optoma, the HD8300 model provides 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 2000:1 alongside a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 393 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 262 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
