As a projector, the Optoma EW536 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 2800 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 3000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A look at the light output reveals: The 2800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 538 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 359 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 28 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
