The Optoma ES531 is a DLP projector offering 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 2800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 461 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 307 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
