The hardware properties of the EzPro / EP780 / TX780 manufactured by Optoma include 4000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast value of 3000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 551 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 367 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2006 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.

The projector is referred to as the TX780 in the USA. According to the USA brochure, power consumption of 250W. How is that supposed to work with a 300W lamp?
Have had the projector for about 5 months. The main purpose was to have a bright projector for presentations. It‘s really good for that! It is also relatively quiet, especially in economy mode (which is still very bright). One problem - it‘s relatively
large - nothing for hand luggage.
From time to time I use it in front of the Heimkimo via digital input. You have to switch the presets to video. Then the quality is ok. But home cinema is certainly not the primary application.
Other than that: exemplary number of connections, very good quality/feel. A reliable workhorse for people who want to make presentations in bright rooms
