As a projector for the Short Distance sector, the Optoma Photon Life PH32ST is equipped with 3875 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 500000:1. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 30000 hours of runtime. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 20.5 years. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 138 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the ISO lumen values. Regarding projection size, the value of 3875 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 323 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 215 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
