As a projector, the Optoma HD3300 combines DLP technology with a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 2000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 5000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 303 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
