The basic data of the Optoma EzPro / EP721 includes 2200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 as well as a contrast of 2000:1. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 408 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 272 cm. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

At first I was a little skeptical because I didn‘t know the brand, but I bought the projector at Mediamarkt for 400 euros. The projector is bright and the contrast ratio is good. I particularly like the fact that the remote control can be used as a mouse pointer and that a laser pointer is built in. This makes the projector ideal for presentations. I use the projector as a TV by connecting a computer with a TV card. Surprisingly, the picture looks fantastic. If you don‘t like a color, you can even adjust each individual color. So I have to give this projector the highest score because it is simply great
