The Optoma GT770 is a 3D-DLP projector that brings 3600 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution alongside a contrast of 20000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 6000 hours for this projector's lamp. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 8.2 years. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 104 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 610 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 407 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2020 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
