The Optoma W301 is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector that brings 3000 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution alongside a contrast of 15000:1. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
