Equipped with DLP technology, the Optoma W515T offers 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. According to Optoma, the included lamp lasts up to 2500 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 787 cm can be illuminated with 6000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 525 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (20W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
