As a projector, the Optoma EX615 combines DLP technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 3500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 3000:1. According to Optoma, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
