As a projector, the Optoma GT3000 combines DLP technology with a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600, and is additionally specified with 2300 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding projection size, the value of 2300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 418 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 279 cm. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
