The projector W330UST by Optoma utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 54 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 3600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 610 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 407 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 26 decibels. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
