As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Optoma S311 is equipped with 3200 ANSI lumens, a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast of 20000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. A look at the light output reveals: The 3200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 493 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 329 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
