Model Overview

Behind the name VPL-XW7000ES is a 3D-Laser-SXRD projector by Sony, whose main features include 3200 ANSI lumens and a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day.
An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Projection Calculator.
Regarding projection size, the value of 3200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 575 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 383 cm.
Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
This model dates back to 2022 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
