The VPL PX20 model is a Laser-LCD projector from Sony, intended for Stationary operations, offering 1400 ANSI lumens and a display in XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 326 cm can be illuminated with 1400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 217 cm. The projector was released in 1999 and is officially no longer distributed by Sony.
