The VPL HW45 model from Sony combines SXRD technology in the Homecinema sector with 1800 ANSI lumens and a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 6000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 8.2 years when used for 2 hours a day. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 431 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 287 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. With a value of only 22 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
