The equipment of the Sony VPL PX35 projector includes 2600 ANSI lumens and a XGA 1024 x 768 display. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 444 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 296 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2003, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
Stationary | Permanent installation in the training room and meeting room as well as the conference room. Medium screen width or rooms with little light, max. 100 lumens.

Mr
I bought the VPL PX 35 second-hand, a great, very bright device, you can even watch outside in bright light. the only thing that bothers me a little is that it‘s not very quiet. Otherwise highly recommended. The important thing for me is that the replacement lamps are available at a very reasonable price of around €100.

Lamp timer
I can‘t reset the lamp timer or I don‘t know how. Unfortunately, I no longer have a manual. Of course it‘s annoying if the lamp always needs replacing but a new lamp has been fitted.
