Categorized in the Stationary segment, the VPL GTZ380 projector from Sony projects with a UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160 resolution, alongside 10000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 16000:1. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 10000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 450 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
