As a projector, the Sony VPL CX275 combines LCD technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 5200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 3000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 628 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 419 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Sony.
