Behind the name LSPX-A1 is a LED-SXRD projector by Sony, whose main features include 2500 ANSI lumens and a resolution of UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Looking at practical performance, up to 39 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 26 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Sony.
