Known as the VPL SX536MBPAC, this LCD projector by Sony features basic specs of 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projection Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range.
