This projector from Sony utilizes Laser-LCD technology, achieving 3000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 350:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. According to Sony, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range.
