Categorized in the Short Distance segment, the VPL SX535 projector from Sony projects with a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution, alongside 3000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2500:1. According to Sony, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Projector Calculator. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 68 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2011 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range.
