Known as the Roadster WU14K-M, this DLP projector by Christie features basic specs of 12500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1136 cm can be illuminated with 12500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 757 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.
