The DW6k neu model from Christie combines DLP technology in the Stationary sector with 7000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a native HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 1000 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 850 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 567 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2005, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
