Designed for the Event sector, the Crimson WU31 model from Christie features 29000 ANSI lumens, a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast ratio of 1800:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 29000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1730 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 1153 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
