This projector from Christie utilizes DLP technology, achieving 30000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 5000:1 at a resolution of UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 25000 hours, which translates to 17.1 years with 4 hours of daily use. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 30000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 225 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. A massive advantage for fixed installations is the HDBaseT interface, which transmits video, audio, and control signals losslessly over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
