Equipped with DLP technology, the Christie Mirage HD3 offers 2900 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 547 cm can be illuminated with 2900 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 365 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
