The basic data of the Christie CP4430 RGB includes 28000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160 as well as a contrast of 6000:1. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 50000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 34.2 years. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 1292 cm can be illuminated with 28000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 861 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Since entering the market in 2022, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
