The basic data of the Christie DHD850-GS includes 6900 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 as well as a contrast of 2000000:1. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6900 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 844 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 563 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
