The equipment of the Christie Korus 4K1000-KS projector includes 8500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 25000:1 with a UHD (4K2K+) 3840 x 2400 display. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 8500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 803 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 535 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
