The projector DS+405 by Christie utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 4100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 7500:1 at a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1700 hours before a replacement is necessary. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 4100 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 558 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 372 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2007 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.
