The basic data of the Christie Mirage HD16K J includes 14000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 as well as a contrast of 2000:1. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 750 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 1202 cm can be illuminated with 14000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 801 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
