This projector from Christie utilizes DLP technology, achieving 9500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 9500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 990 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 660 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
