The Christie MIRAGE WU20K-J is a DLP projector that brings 18000 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution alongside a contrast of 2000:1. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 750 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 18000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1363 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 909 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
