The projector Mirage HD12 by Christie operates as a 3D-Laser-DLP device with 12000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 2000:1. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 1000 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1113 cm can be illuminated with 12000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 742 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
