The Christie MIRAGE WU12 is a 3D-DLP projector offering 12000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1000 hours. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 12000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1113 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 742 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
