Based on LCOS technology, the Barco LX 5 projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a UHD (4K+2K+) 4096 x 2400 resolution. According to Barco, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for optical image shifting. To plan the individual installation location, a look at the Distance Calculator is recommended. Regarding projection size, the value of 4500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
