A projector from Barco is the F80 1080, whose DLP model delivers 8000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 909 cm can be illuminated with 8000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 606 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco.
