A projector from Barco is the Galaxy 6 Classic+, whose DLP model delivers 6000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 and a contrast of 1250:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1500 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 675 cm can be illuminated with 6000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 450 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Barco's current product range. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
