Behind the name ID R600 is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Barco, whose main features include 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 675 cm can be illuminated with 6000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 450 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. This model dates back to 2005 and is no longer part of Barco's current product range.
