The Hodr model is a 3D-LED-DLP projector from Barco, intended for Stationary applications, offering 7500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 600:1 at UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 7500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 880 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 587 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
