According to Barco, the DP2K 8S model provides 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 1850:1 alongside a HD2K 2048 x 1080 resolution. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 6000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 450 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Barco's current product range. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
