The W1100 is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Benq, whose specifications list 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4500:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 454 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 303 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. With a value of only 27 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2011 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range.

I‘ve had the projector for 1 year now and have already run it for several hours. I use it for films and presentations of drawings/3D images. 2.4m wide screen. The only thing you should check before buying is the offset value. I have no problem with ceiling mounting. Volume is also absolutely okay!

HAVE NOW PLAYED THE BENQ w1100 FOR 4 MONTHS AND MANY MOVIES ON MEDIA PLAYER AND EXTERNAL HARD DISK WHETHER DVD OR BLURAY: NO PROBLEMS AT ALL ON THE OPPOSITE THE PICTURE IS SIMPLY SUPER SHARP AND THE LIGHTING OF MY SCREEN WHICH HAS A DIAGONAL SIZE OF approx. 300cm; CAN ONLY BE RECOMMENDED

The picture is really 1A, it‘s just a bit of a pain to set up! But good ... I‘m happy with it ... and the fan is IRREALLY QUIET (22db)! That was a selling point for me!
